Electric mobility company, Ultraviolette is likley to launch the new F77 electric motorcycle in the first half of 2022. Ultraviolette recently revealed that the brand has received funding from the TVS Motor Company and Zoho Corporation. Also, customers will be able to pre-book the new Ultraviolette F77 from the brand’s official website.
Ultraviolette F77 – Overview
The Ultraviolette F77 will come in three variants – Airstrike, Shadow and Laser. The brand offers the F77 e-motorcycle with three Lithium-ion battery pack options. Powering the Ultraviolette F77 is a 4.2 kWh max capacity battery. The F77 comes with an air-cooled interior permanent magnet AC electric motor that produces 33.5 PS of power and 90 Nm of torque. The 25 kW power motor features a single-speed transmission and three riding modes. The e-bike also comes with a steel trellis, aluminium bulkhead chassis. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and features upside-down front fork suspension and a 12mm rear monoshock spring. Braking power comes from a single 320mm front disc with ABS and a 230 mm rear disc.
The Ultraviolette F-77 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 140 kmph in Insane mode. Ultraviolette claims that riders can charge the battery packs of the bike within 1.5 hours using fast charging. Also, the bike comes with a 150 Km range per charge.
Ultraviolette F77 – Testing
Ultraviolette is currently testing the F77 both on and off-the-road. The brand will be putting the e-motorcycle through its paces over the next few months. In its first round of testing, the Ultraviolette F77 is being tested on an airstrip. The brand is also taking the testing phase #BeyondAsphalt, taking the F77 into off-the-beat trails of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The brand will test all the powertrain components using various quantitative and qualitative parameters. The brand is also testing the F77 out on muddy, uneven, and harsh terrains.
