TVS Motor Company has announced the brand’s partnership with Sherco for the upcoming 2022 Dakar Rally. With the continued partnership, the team has managed to finish 6th in the standings during the 2021 Dakar Rally. In order to accelerate its progress, TVS Sherco also unveiled their latest motorcycle for the Dakar 2022, the ‘Sherco 450 SEF Rally.’
The motorcycle is based on the Enduro 450 SEF Factory and the team will use 3 of these bikes for the Dakar rally. TVS Sherco Team has also announced that the new bike will be ridden by Lorenzo Santolino, Rui Goncalves, and Harith Noah.
2022 TVS Sherco 450 SEF Rally – Highlights
The new 2022 TVS Sherco 450 SEF Rally will utilize a semi-perimeter molybdenum steel frame from the Enduro 450. The new 450 SEF Rally will use the same 450cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke motor but in a different state of tune. The enduro motorcycle will also continue with the iconic blue and high-viz yellow colour theme.
TVS-Sherco also offers plenty of decals sprinkled across the bike these include Motul and Akrapovic, as well as a front beak. To enhance its rally performance, the brand offers the new 450 SEF Rally thanks to a variety of different components. These also include BOS MAC racing suspension. The bike also comes with an Akrapovic racing exhaust system, flared-up mudguards, and an increased ride height.
