Both companies have also identified a range of products and technologies which will help deliver significant business benefits for both TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad.

By mutually tapping into emerging technologies TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad will develop common platforms. Long-Term Strategic Partnership
In April 2013, TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad signed a long-term strategic partnership to manufacture sub-500cc motorcycles. The mutually-developed vehicles are sold in the global market under both BMW and TVS brands. TVS and BMW Motorrad have developed the BMW G 310 R, BMW 310 GS, and TVS Motor Company’s TVS Apache RR 310 in the Indian and international market. The brands have sold more than 1,00,000 products based on the 310cc platform in markets like Europe, USA, Japan, China and India.
