TVS Motor Company has launched the new Jupiter 125 in the Indian market at the price of INR 73,400 ex-showroom. The Jupiter 125 adds to the latest scooter range with the tagline ‘Zyada Se Bhi Zyada’, offering a bigger engine and a plethora of features. The brand is offering the new scooter in three variants – Drum, Drum Alloy and Disc. The manufacturer is also offering the bike in four colour options – Pristine White, Dawn Orange, IndiBlue, and Titanium Grey. It is important to note that the price of the new scooter is currently introductory and may increase in the coming months. TVS expects to boost its sales during the festive season with the new TVS Jupiter 125.
TVS Jupiter 125 – Design & Features
The TVS Jupiter 125 features a neo-masculine design language. The scooter comes with a MetalMAXX body design offering a premium look. The brand also offers the Jupiter 125 with plenty of chrome accents, a 3D emblem and painted inner panels for a rich look. The scooter features an LED headlamp, signature front light guides, an elegant tail-lamp, and a grab-rail reflector. The Jupiter 125 comes with features such as the largest under-seat storage capacity of 33 litres. This allows it to fit two full-face helmets. The Jupiter 125 also features the longest seat in the segment. Other features include an external front fuel filler cap, all-in-one lock, mobile charger, side stand indicator, engine inhibitor, and a front glove box. The scooter also comes with a semi-digital speedometer with smart alerts, average, and real-time mileage indicators.
TVS Jupiter 125 – Technical Specifications
Powering the Jupiter 125 scooter is a 124.8cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled engine. The engine produces 8 PS of power and 10.5 Nm of torque. TVS offers its body balance technology on the Jupiter 125. This includes a telescopic front suspension, and 3-step-adjustable rear Monotube Canister Gas charged shocks. The TVS Jupiter 125 also comes with new ‘intelliGO’ technology that enhances the riding comfort, mileage and reduces emissions. The technology is capable of automatically switching off the engine at a stop and starting it back on when it’s time to move. This not only saves fuel but also reduces environmental pollution.
