Triumph Hike Prices on Trident 660 by INR 50,000 on the Ex-Showroom Price

Triumph has announced a price hike of INR 50,000 for the brand’s entry-level roadster, the Trident 660. 1st February 2022 onwards, the Trident 660 will come with a new price tag of INR 7,45,000 ex-showroom in India. At the time of the launch, Triumph India introduce the Trident 660 for the Indian market with a sticker price of INR 6,95,000 ex-showroom. The brand launched the Trident 660 in April 2021 and the motorcycle has received an exceptional response from the motorcycling community in India.

2022 Triumph Trident 660 – Design Details 

The Trident 660 features a neo-roadster design theme offering a muscular stance. The motorcycle features sculpted knee cut-outs on the tank and features lightweight, aluminium five-spoke alloy wheels finished in black. The motorcycle also comes with a distinctively sporty and minimalist rear end with a swingarm-mounted number plate hanger. The motorcycle also comes with contrast-painted radiator cowls, yokes and heel guards. The Trident 660 also gets body-coloured fork protectors, tapered aluminium handlebars and teardrop-shaped mirrors.

In addition to this, the Trident 660 gets an aluminium inset Trident 660 badge with diamond-machined detail lettering. The bike also comes with a fuel-cap mounted Triumph badge. Triumph offers the Trident with Crystal White or Sapphire Black colours along with contrasting decals or Matt Jet Black and Matt Silver Ice colour option. Triumph also offers a Silver Ice and Diablo Red colour scheme with Triumph graphics on the bike’s TFT instrument display.

2022 Triumph Trident 660 – Technical Specification

Powering the Triumph Trident 660 is a Triumph Triple three-cylinder engine with 660cc of displacement. The liquid-cooled engine comes with a 12-valve DOHC engine architecture and electronic fuel injection. The engine produces 81 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox with a wet, multi-plate, slipper clutch. The brand also offers the bike with a Stainless steel 3 into 1 header exhaust system. The Triumph Trident 660 comes with a tubular steel perimeter frame, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a 14-litre fuel tank.

The bike rides on 41mm, inverted Showa front forks and a Showa monoshock RSU. Braking power comes from 310mm, floating front discs and a single 255mm disc on the rear with ABS. Triumph has also equipped the bike with Nissin hydraulic callipers. The Trident also offers Road and Rain riding modes, switchable traction control, and electronic throttle control.
