Triumph has introduced the new Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line edition in the Indian market. The new Bonneville Black Gold Line Edition comes with a price tag of INR 11,79,000 ex-showroom. Triumph has revealed that the brand will produce the new Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line edition for just one year. The new Triumph Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line edition has been launched alongside 5 other Gold Line edition models which showcase Triumph’s paint-shop prowess.
Triumph has also revealed that it takes time for the renowned paint team and it has years of patience, expertise, and steady hands. The company starts by applying a two-tone colour base scheme and ensures that the meeting point between the colours undergoes flattening. An artist then applies a continuous gold pinstripe on the motorcycle by hand, using a specialized soft-bristled sword-liner brush. Then a final coat of lacquer is applied to the entire surface to seal the pinstripe.
2021 Triumph Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line – Design Details
Triumph has revealed that the T120 Black Gold Line although priced similar to the standard T120 Black Gold Line the bike comes with unique visual details. For starters, the motorcycle comes with a darker edge thanks to the Matt Sapphire Black paint scheme on various panels. These surfaces include the fuel tank, front/rear mudguards, headlight cover, blacked-out engine, exhaust system, and side panels.
The brand also offers a Matte Sapphire paint scheme which is a combination of Matte Silver Ice coloured infill. The motorcycle also features hand-paint gold lining. Triumph also offers a ‘gold line’ logo in the inscription. Along with this is a Matte Silver Ice coloured side panel stripe graphics. In addition to this, the new black and gold Bonneville T120 Black logos come with a hand-painted gold lining which is also present on the bike. The brand is also offering an accessory fit matching Matte Sapphire Black flyscreen for the Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line edition.

Powering the Bonneville T120 Black Gold Line edition is a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine from the standard T120 Gold Line edition. However, the engine is tuned to produce 80 PS of power and 105 Nm of torque. The Triumph T120 Black Gold Line comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox with a wet, multi-plate torque-assist clutch. The motorcycle rides on 41mm, front cartridge forks, and twin rear RSUs.
