Tork Motors an emerging electric two-wheeler brand in India has revealed that it has renamed its T6X e-bike as the ‘KRATOS’. Tork Motors has been developing the T6X for the past 6 years and conducted extensive research on the much-anticipated e-bike in India. The Pune-based brand also revealed that it plans for a virtual launch during the final week of January 2022.
The brand has also filed more than 50 patents for its Made-in-India e-bike at the intellectual property office. This includes the e-bike’s designs under IPR. Tork will open bookings for customers after the virtual launch and the bike will come with cutting-edge technology. The ‘KRATOS’ will fulfil customer demands in the coming months.
2022 Tork KRATOS – Design Highlights
The new KRATOS now comes with improved ergonomics, and the name symbolises strength and power. Recently a test mule of the motorcycle was spotted in India showcasing a new triangular-shaped LED headlight, LED taillight, and a new split seat configuration. The brand also reveals that it has redesigned the frame of the bike with the new styling. This is thanks to the rigorous testing procedures.
In addition to this, the test mule also reveals a single assembly mid-section, a muscular fuel tank, and an extended panel at the tail. The development mule also includes angular panels underneath the fuel tank, a split-pillion grab rail, and a digital instrument cluster. The brand claims that the KRATOS will offer comfort during city rides as well as long riding ranges.
2022 Tork KRATOS – Technical Specification
Powering the new KRATOS a TORK LIION Battery pack that powers an advanced Axial flux motor. Thanks to this setup, the KRATOS will produce 27 Nm of torque with 90-96% of efficiency. The bike boasts 100 kph top speed and a riding range of 100 Km con a single charge. Tork Motors also reveals that the KRATOS will utilize its signature TIROS (Tork Intuitive Response Operating System) that compiles rider data.
