Hero MotoCorp’s arguably the most popular motorcycle, the Xpulse 200, gets a new feature update. The brand has introduced a new Connected feature on select Hero MotoCorp products dubbed Hero Connectivity Platform. The Hero Connectivity Platform comes with a price of INR 4,999 for a one-year subscription. Via the Hero Connectivity Platform, the Hero Xpulse 200 gets a new Topple Alert Feature. Hero MotoCorp boasts that the new connected feature is a lifesaver for motorcyclists.
How Does Topple Alert Feature Work?
The Hero MotoCorp Topple Alert Feature can send out an alert to selected contacts in case of an accident. The Topple Alert feature works with Hero App that can send automatic notifications and SMS to emergency contacts. The app will send out messages and information using the registered mobile number. Using the Hero App, the user is able to select the emergency contacts to which the notification will be sent. In case of a mishap, the near and dear ones, who receive the emergency notifications can take appropriate actions. These could prove life-saving in case a rider needs medical services. In addition to the Hero Xpulse 200, the Topple Alert features is also available on Xtreme 160R, Destini 125, Pleasure+ and Pleasure+ Platinum as an option. Hero MotoCorp also plans to bring this life-saving technology to other Hero two-wheelers in the near future.
