Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced that the brand has sold a total of 70,092 units in January 2022. Suzuki Motorcycles India revealed that the brand registered a total sales of 60,623 units in the domestic market. Whereas, in the international market, the company exported close to 9,469 units. To things into perspective, the brand sold 8% more two-wheelers when compared to the sales in January 2021. Despite the global semiconductor shortage and the difficulties due to COVID-19, Suzuki recorded a growth in the domestic as well as in the exports market. Suzuki Motorcycle India – 6 Million Units
Suzuki recently rolled out its six millionth unit from its Gurugram plant in the form of a Suzuki Avenis. The Suzuki Avenis 125 scooter comes with a price tag of INR 86,700 (ex-showroom). The scooter locks its horns with the other offerings in the 125cc segment. This segment includes the likes of Honda Grazia, Activa 125 and TVS Ntroq. Powering the Avenis is a 125cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8.7 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque.
