Royal Enfield has announced that the brand has rolled out more than 1 lakh+ units of the latest generation Classic 350 motorcycle. The brand launched the next-gen Classic 350 featuring the new JLA platform in September 2021. The platform made its debut on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 which replaced the ‘Thunderbird 350. Royal Enfield retails the motorcycle in India and other countries such as Europe, South Asia, South America, Australia, etc. The demand for the motorcycle is quite high and customers have no choice but to sit through the long waiting period.

The Classic 350 retains its round-shaped headlight along with the signature headlamp hood and comes with a new 13-litre fuel tank. Along with this the motorcycle also features the hallmark nacelle housing the headlamp cluster. The bike also gets twin marker headlamps and a new semi-digital instruments cluster. In addition to this, the Classic 350 features split seats, full fenders, a rounded taillight along with sleeker and refined side boxes.
The brand offers 5 variants – Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark, and Chrome. Prices for the Redditch start at INR 1,84,374 ex-showroom, while the Halcyon comes at INR 1,93,123 ex-showroom. The Signals meanwhile costs INR 2,04,367 ex-showroom while the Dark variant costs INR 2,11,465 ex-showroom. Finally, the top-spec Chrome variant costs INR 2,15,118 ex-showroom.
2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 – Technical Specifications
Powering the new Classic 350 is the new J-series engine borrowed from the Meteor 350. The engine features a push-rod valve distribution system and an Over-Head-Cam and a Chain-Time-Gear system. The also comes with a new cylinder head with oil channels to aid in thermodynamic efficiency. The 349cc air/oil-cooled single-cylinder motor also comes with an electronic fuel injection system for improved overall performance. The motor produces 20.2 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed gearbox.
