Royal Enfield has recorded that the motorcycle manufacturer sold a total of 73,739 units in December 2021. In December 2020 the brand recorded sales of 68,995 units. To put things into perspective, the company recorded a sales figure of 65,187 units in November 2021. This shows a growth of 45 per cent. Royal Enfield also exported a total of 8,552 units which is up from 3,503 units for the same period last year. This also translates to a growth of 144.13 per cent.

Royal Enfield also introduced the Anniversary Edition 650 Twin Motorcycles in the global market. The brand had allocated 120 units for India which got sold out in less than 2 minutes. The special edition models also showcase that Royal Enfield has completed 120 years of existence in 2021, hence these Anniversary models were launched as a part of the celebration. In India, the limited edition models of 650 twins will make their way to Europe, the Americas and South-East Asia.
Recently, Royal Enfield also marked its presence in the South Pole. The motorcycle maker also created history by successfully completing this 90-degree South Expedition. In this expedition, two riders, Santhosh Vijay Kumar and Dean Coxson reached the geographic South Pole in 15 days riding the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
The brand also announced the start of the second season of Art of Motorcycling. The creative campaign aims to bring out creativity amongst artists, creators and motorcycling enthusiasts. The brand also boasts that it is the perfect platform for customers who want to express their love for ‘the motorcycling way of life’. Royal Enfield also collaborated with three renowned experts – leading fashion designers Shantanu and Nikhil. Also in collaboration is the celebrated illustrator Vimal Chandran and ace photographer Bobby Joshi for the Art of Motorcycling campaign.
