Modifications on the Royal Enfield Himalayan for the South Pole Expedition
The Royal Enfield Himalayans will come with a reduced primary drive sprocket from 15-teeth to 13-teeth. This will enable the bike with increased torque output at the rear wheel. The motorcycle will also come with tubeless studded tyres specially curated to tackle the terrain. The tyres are capable of running on low pressures and increasing traction on the soft snow. The Royal Enfield Himalayan will also come with a more robust alternator utilizing rare earth magnets. The updated alternator will also help produce more power required for the heating gear on the expedition.
