Revolt to Expand Network in 5 Cities in November 2021

Electric mobility solutions provider Revolt Motors has announced that the brand is planning to expand to 5 new cities in India. Revolt aims to expand its footprint in key cities like Kolkata, Coimbatore, Madurai, Vizag, and Vijayawada. With new dealerships in the abovementioned five cities, Revolt Motors will have a total of 19 dealerships in the Indian market. This also means that the dealership network will be spread across 9 states and 14 major cities. Revolt’s experience centres will help provide customers a clear look at Revolt’s electric motorcycles and also provide sales, spares, and after-sales service.

Revolt’s New Dealerships in India

In October 2021, Revolt inaugurated new dealerships in three cities. The brand opened new dealerships to handle the extra load during the festive season. Revolt Motors has also successfully fulfilled customer demands thanks to the new dealerships in the Indian market, the improved buying sentiment during the festive season and enhanced awareness to buy electric vehicles over ICE counterparts. It is not just the consciousness of having a green vehicle but Revolt also provides savings with regards to running costs due to the sharp increase in petrol prices.

Revolt RV400 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Revolt RV400 is a 3kW Mid Drive electric motor and a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery. The electric powertrain produces 6.8 PS of power and 54 Nm of torque. This helps the electric motorcycle achieve a top speed of 85 kmph. The RV400 comes with Upside Down (USD) front forks along with a fully-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Braking power comes from 240mm, front and rear disc brakes. The Revolt RV400 also gets a wheelbase of 1350mm, an 814mm seat height and a ground clearance of 215mm.

The RV400 electric motorcycle comes with LED headlamps, indicators and tail lamps. The brand also offers the bike with loads of connectivity features that customers can control via the ‘MyRevolt’ app. This includes features such as Geo-fencing, customizable sounds and complete bike diagnostics. Also, customers get full riding data, and the history of distance travelled. The RV400 comes with three riding modes – Eco, Normal, and Sport. Charging the RV400 from 0-75% takes less than 3 hours using the Revolt Switch Station. At Revolt Switch station customers can also swap the spent battery for a fully charged one in just 60 seconds.
