Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, One Moto, reveals that the company is currently in talks with the Government of Telangana to install a new manufacturing facility in the state. The brand revealed that the talks are in the advanced stages and operations to build the new manufacturing plant are likely to commence soon. One Moto also revealed that the company is also actualizing a Battery Charging/Swapping network across multiple cities.
The new charging network will not only provide an easy access for charging electric scooter for commuters but also lead to a smooth riding experience and reduce the range anxiety. The brand also boasts that its electric vehicles are tested for the most stringent safety measures with performance indicators and speed tests to ensure all quality procedures are in place. The company is also in conversation with multiple state governments for opportunities to expand its sustainability profile.
One Moto India
One Moto reveals that enquiries for its products have been flowing in, and the team is currently recording overwhelming amount of bookings. The dealerships and investors are also keen to associate themselves with the EV brand, said One Moto. The company is also focussing on launching its Experiences Hub in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mangalore and Mumbai. The brand boasts that it offers unique features such as Apps integrated with the vehicles, which provide Real-Time updates, High performance per charge, Speed, Unique Colors etc. This will help the brand to become unique and compete with rival brands such as Ather, Ola and Simple energy.
One Moto Electric Scooters
In November 2021, One Moto launched the Commuta and Byka electric scooters priced at INR 1.30 lakh ex-showroom and INR 1.80 lakh ex-showroom, respectively. Powering the scooters is a 72V and 45A detachable lithium-ion battery. The scooters are capable of charging in under 4 hours and come with a three-year warranty on the motor, battery and controller.
