Reports are suggesting that customers can now receive features of the Ola S1 Pro on their Ola S1 scooter. However, customers will need to pay an additional amount of INR 30,000 to enable all the features. It is being said that after spending the amount, the Ola S1 scooter will receive a software update that updates the scooter to a higher range, top speed and faster charging. In addition to this, the scooter will also come with features cruise control, Hyper Mode and hill-hold assist. This means customers can convert the S1 to S1 Pro by paying the additional amount. This leads u to believe that Ola will only manufacture the S1 Pro models and sell the S1 as a restricted version. This also makes sense from a manufacturing point of view as producing a single variant will balance the economies of scale.
