Last year the Union ministry of transportation and highways made a new amendment which made new regulation for commuters. Due to the new amendment, the government of India has imposed certain new rules which have come into action since the 1st of October.

- The government of India has made a new regulation which enables the commuter to digitally carry his/her bike-related official documents like bike insurance, bike registration certificate and vehicle driving license. According to this new amendment it has been made simpler for daily commuters to carry their documents effortlessly.
- The necessary documents are to be authorised through the government gateway for the easy verification process. By this action to the current regulations, commuters without valid proof can be easily tracked.
- Commuters can download the m-Parivahan application on their mobiles and can register with their phone numbers and can store their documents online. There are also alternate storage options like Digi lockers where you can now store your documents online.
- With this new rule in actions, revoking of the driver license can be done digitally with the receipts of the violation being stored online. According to these new regulations, the online storage of pending receipts and other concerns regarding the driver can be tracked digitally.
- Invoice and other receipts that are issued to the commuter can be stored digitally. Post the payments of raised receipts the documents are all stored digitally for easy access by the commuter.
- With the new amendment bill effective from the 1st of October, commuters are now authorised to use their mobile phones for navigation purposes while driving. It is also necessary to keep in mind that using your mobile phones while driving can be fatal. So it is advised to use your mobile phones more effectively and only for navigation which will help you in road safety.
