In both cases, the engine and other features are likely to remain the same. While the naked motorcycle is likely to come with a streetfighter design and target urban mobility customers. Bajaj Pulsar 250 – Technical Specifications
Leveraging the Bajaj-KTM partnership, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has been developing its products based on KTM engine architecture. Examples include the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 which uses the engine architecture from the KTM 200 Duke/RC 200. Also, the Bajaj Dominar 400 uses the engine architecture from the KTM 390 Duke/RC 390. However, the new Pulsar 250 will not use the KTM engine architecture, but Bajaj has been developing a new engine for the motorcycle. In the recent past, the brand also filed design patents for a new Variable Valve Timing system which could be employed on the new engine. But, to keep prices in check, Bajaj is likely to use an air-oil-cooled motor. Speculations are that the new quarter-litre motor will produce somewhere between the 22 and 27 Hp of power.
Bajaj is likely to reveal more information on the Pulsar 250 shortly.
