Kawasaki has launched the MY22 Ninja 1000 SX in the Indian market at the price of INR 11.40 lakh ex-showroom. The brand has revealed that the new Ninja 1000 SX will be available in two colour options – Emerald Blazed Green and Metallic Matte Graphene steel Gray. Customers can now book the motorcycle through Kawasaki physical dealerships as well as from the brand’s online sales channels. Changes and Features
The MY22 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX only comes with some cosmetic changes. The engine and running gear of the motorcycle remains unchanged. According to Kawasaki, the Ninja 1000 SX is the ideal motorcycle that is the embodiment of performance, power, style, aesthetics, and electronics. The features list includes Integrated Riding Modes, two Power Modes, Electronic Cruise Control, Traction Control with three modes and a 4.3-inch TFT colour instrumentation. Kawasaki also offers a Quick Shifter, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System, Smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth etc.
Technical Specifications
Powering the Ninja 1000 SX is a 1,043cc inline-four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The motor produces 140 Bhp of power and 111 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle chassis rides on adjustable upside-down forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear. Braking power comes from dual discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod in Bridgestone’s BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 tyres.

In addition to this, Kawasaki also launched the MY22 Versys 1000 that will retail at INR 11.55 lakh ex-showroom. As per rumours, Kawasaki and Yamaha are working jointly to start with the hydrogen engine project.
