KTM has announced that the Austrian brand has sold more than 1,000 units of its 390 Adventure motorcycle in Bangalore. The brand introduced the 390 Adventure motorcycle for the Indian market in 2020 and has witnessed a significant increase in the demand for the motorcycle. The KTM 390 Adventure is designed for riders who are enthusiastic about travelling and also going off-the-road. The motorcycle also makes for a good city commuter, making it quite an allrounder. KTM entered the Indian market in 2012 and the brand has made its presence in more than 365 cities with its 460 stores. KTM India also revealed that Bangalore has become the first city in the Indian to achieve the 1,000 unit sales mark. Mr. Chakravarthy has officially become the 1000th owner of a 390 Adventure in the city of Bangalore.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure – Highlights
KTM recently launched the 2022 390 Adventure in the international market with two new colour schemes – a Blue tank with orange side panels and a dual-tone combination of black and grey with orange accents on the fuel tank. The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure also features refreshed graphics on the cowling and front fender, as well as black knuckle guards. In addition to this, the 2022 390 Adventure gets new 5-spoke double split alloy wheels- 19-inch at the front and 17-inch at the rear. The brand has also upgraded the electronics package on the new KTM 390 Adventure. Expect the brand to launch the updated motorcycle soon in India, thanks to its popularity.
2022 KTM 390 Adventure – Technical Specifications
Powering the KTM 390 Adventure is a BS6 compliant, 373cc, single-cylinder DOHC engine. The motor produces 43 PS of power and 37 Nm of torque. The engine comes with DLC-coated pistons and Nikasil-coated wet aluminium liners to reduce friction among parts. The motorcycle also gets a 6-speed manual gearbox along with a slipper and assist clutch with an electronic quickshifter.
The KTM 390 Adventure rides on 43mm, WP Apex front suspension and a preload-adjustable WP Apex rear monoshock. The bike gets a single 320mm, front disc with a 4-piston, radially-mounted calliper, and Bosch 2-channel ABS. On the rear the motorcycle gets a single 230mm disc with a cornering function along with LED lighting and a 14-litre fuel tank.
