Kawasaki has updated its flagship supersport motorcycle, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R with a new livery. The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R comes with a special new colour option – Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black. The new colour will offer a new stealth look to the Kawasaki Ninja ZZ-10R in the international market. The motorcycle will soon be available for retail in the international markets. Also, the brand will bring the colour to India next year. Currently, Kawasaki sells the bike through its physical and digital showrooms in the country.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Colour and Other Updates
The new colour option features a gloss black headlight fairing, fuel tank, and tail section. The new colour theme also includes red pinstripes and bold ’10R’ graphics on the body. The fairing of the new ZX-10R features a Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray colour with the Metallic Diablo Black accents. The brand in India retails the Lime Green colour as well as a Flat Ebony Type2 which is a shade of black. Apart from the new colour, Kawasaki has not made any mechanical changes to the motorcycle. The new update is purely cosmetic.
2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Technical Specifications
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a 998cc, liquid-cooled inline-four-cylinder engine. The engine produces 213 PS of power and 114.9 Nm of torque. The brand offers the engine with a 6-speed transmission and assist and slipper clutch. The power unit is powerful enough to propel the motorcycle to 300 kmph top speed. The bike is also capable of sprinting from 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds. The new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R comes with a new Aluminium Twin-spar Frame and rides on new 43mm inverted front forks from Showa that offer 120mm of travel. The bike also comes with a horizontal back-link monoshock on the rear with 115mm of travel. For braking duties, Kawasaki has employed dual 330mm Brembo brakes on the front and a 220mm single rear disc.
