Hyosung’s new V-Twin 300cc motorcycle has made its debut in the international market. The South Korean brand has added another motorcycle to its ‘Grand Voyage’ portfolio. Called the “GV300SA,” Hyosung unveiled this motorcycle at China’s largest trade fair in October 2021. If launched in India, the GV300SA will compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda CB350 and the likes. This new motorcycle will join the GV125S Bobber’s family and expect some comprehensive changes to the 2022 model.
Hyosung GV300SA – Design Highlights
The Hyosung GV300SA features an American custom bobber design. The bike comes with a relaxed stance and cruiser-like design. The motorcycle also comes with an all-black treatment featuring core body panels in a full matte black theme. Design highlights include a rounded halogen headlamp, rounded side body panels, side casings for the engine, chopped front and rear fenders, a compact peanut shape fuel tank, turn indicators and tail lamp. The motorcycle’s low ground clearance and wide handlebar give it the look of a cruiser. Meanwhile, the use of larger front wheels gives the impression of a Bobber.
Hyosung GV300SA – Engine, Hardware and Features
Powering the Hyosung GV300SA is a 296cc four-stroke, liquid-cooled, V-twin engine. The engine produces 30.4 PS of power and 25.6 Nm of torque. The bike is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle rides on a suspension combination of hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and dual coil springs at the rear. Braking power comes from a single-disc setup on both at the front and rear. The motorcycle features a semi-digital unit that gets an analogue tachometer and a rectangular LCD panel that displays speed, fuel level, odometer, trip meter and engine temperature.
