Honda has revealed the new MY22 CB500X in the international market. The MY22 Honda CB500X comes with mechanical changes, refinements to the engine and also a new colour. The MY22 CB500X also come with a fractionally forward weight bias which Honda claims will offer the rider more control over the machine. The adventure tourer is also sold in the Indian market, and the upgraded motorcycle is likely to hit Indian streets next year.

The Honda CB500X comes with a new Pearl Organic Green colour. The brand also offers the Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and the Grand Prix Red colours on the Honda CB500X. Honda retails the CB500X in India in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Grand Prix Red colour options with a price tag of INR 687,988 ex-showroom, Delhi.
MY22 Honda CB500X – Changes
The new Honda CB500X comes with changes to the mechanical hardware, such as the suspension and brakes. The brand offers new 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks that provide an enhanced ride. The motorcycle also comes with 296mm twin disc brakes with dual Nissin radial-mount two-piston callipers. The new stoppers offer more brake bite enhancing the stopping power of the adventure motorcycle. The brand also employs a new design alloy wheel with thinner spokes that reduce the overall weight and rotational mass. Also new in the list is the swingarm improving the agility and handling of the motorcycle. The forward weight bias claims to improve the front end grip as well as steering feedback.
MY22 Honda CB500X – Technical Specifications
Powering the MY22 Honda CB500X is a 471cc parallel-twin cylinder engine with liquid cooling. The Euro5 compliant engine produces 47 Hp of power and 43 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The brand also retails an A2 Licence compliant 35kW power engine in the European market. The new engine comes with changes to the fuel injection system. The new updates claim to offer an improved torque feel. The engine also features a new 92g lighter radiator that is aesthetically pleasing and still provides the same thermodynamic efficiency.
