It’s good news for enthusiasts planning to buy the Honda CB500X. Honda is offering the adventure motorcycle with a discount of almost INR 1 lakh on the ex-showroom price. Thanks to this the motorcycle will now retail at an ex-showroom price of INR 5.79 lakh. Previously, the CB500X used to retail at INR 6.88 lakh ex-showroom.
Honda has already updated the CB500X adventure motorcycle in the international market. The updated motorcycle comes with some significant updates. These updates include USD forks, dual front disc brakes, a lighter swingarm and more. The brand has also issues new colour themes on the CB500X in the international market. Chances are that Honda will introduce the updated model for the Indian market soon. However, being a CKD unit the price tag is slightly higher, but it is still a perfect choice for adventure touring enthusiasts.
2022 Model Changes
Compared to 2021, the 2022 model year update includes a host of mechanical changes. The brand has revealed that the key highlighting features are a set of new 41mm, Showa SFF-BP USD fork. The new suspension unit replaces the conventional telescopic fork in the outgoing model. The front wheel is also now made of aluminium which is 100gm lighter than the previous one. The brand has also replaced the 310mm single disc with twin 296mm discs and new twin-piston Nissin callipers. The brand has employed a new swingarm which is 1 kg lighter than the previous model. Honda has also added a new ‘Pearl Organic Green/Black’ colour for the 2022 model.
Technical Specifications
Powering the new Honda CB500X is the same 471 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 47.6 Hp of power and 43.2Nm of torque. The bike also comes with a fuel tank of 17.7 litres offering a long-range.
