Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the brand’s sales report for January 2021. The company registered a total sales of 3,54,209 units for the given period. The sales report includes 3,12,196 units in domestic sales and 39,013 units as exports. As compared to January 2021, the export figure also reportedly doubled from last year. In 2022 the two-wheeler market showed some positive movement as compared to 2021. However, the company feels that there are still some preceding challenges of the last fiscal year. Furthermore, the health of citizens is also beginning to get better this year which is also thanks to the implementation of vaccinations and a dip in daily COVID cases.

Honda announced that in January 2022, the brand’s successful Shine commuter motorcycle achieved the 1 Crore customer milestone in India. The remarkable achievement was achieved in the country despite the COVID-19 situation. In addition to this, Honda also reported that the brand is now the first choice of over 15 lakh customers in Odisha state. Also, the scooter segment in the country is growing exponentially. As a matter of fact, the Honda Grazia125 has now gained over 2 lakh customers in the Eastern India region. Honda is also expanding the BigWing network aggressively. The two-wheeler manufacturer has also added a new outlet in Kangra (Himachal Pradesh). The BigWing brand is also getting more and more popular as it keeps adding new outlets across the country.
The Neo-Sports Cafe category is also currently booming in the country and therefore the brand also launched the 2022 CB300R in the Indian market again. The CB300R can now be booked from Honda showrooms across the country. Alongside this, the company has also launched the new 2022 CBR650R. Customers will have two exciting colour options to choose from. These are Grand Prix Red and Gunpowder Black Metallic.
