Hero MotorCorp has announced that the brand will hike the price of its products for next year. The upward revision in the ex-showroom prices will affect the brand’s range of scooters and motorcycles. Also, the brand revealed that the prices will come into effect from January 4th 2022. The increase in the prices of the commodity has led Hero MotoCorp to take this price hike decision. The prices of Hero Motocorp range of products will go up by up to INR 2,000 on the ex-showroom cost. Hero MotoCorp is not the only manufacturer to revise its pricing. Other automotive manufacturers have also announced their price hike for next year.
Hero MotoCorp’s Future Plans
The world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is also looking to enter the electric vehicle segment soon. The brand teased a new electric scooter at the 10th-anniversary celebrations of Hero MotoCorp. The brand did not fully reveal the electric scooter but it appears to look like a conventional e-scooter. The brand has not revealed any technical specifications of the scooter, but Hero MotoCorp confirmed that the scooter will be manufactured at its plant in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The manufacturing plant is aptly called the ‘Garden Factory’. The brand is likely to enter the Indian e-mobility segment with its products. We can also expect some massive developments in the field of charging infrastructure in the country.
