Hero MotoCorp has launched the new Xpulse200 in the Indian market. The brand has upgraded the popular enduro motorcycle in terms of its styling and engine. The bike now comes with a new four-valve engine, earning the 4V suffix. The upgraded Hero Xpulse200 4V also comes with new colours and graphics that will help differentiate it from its predecessor. Also, the new engine will attract buyers who plan to use the motorcycle for long highway rides. That’s not all, apart from the addition in the valvetrain, Hero has also upgraded the oil cooler to optimise the thermodynamics of the motorcycle. And all this comes at a mild increase in the ex-showroom price.
Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200 4V – Price and Colours
The new Hero MotoCorp Xpulse 200 4V comes with a price tag of INR 128,150 ex-showroom, Delhi. The outgoing model comes with a price tag of INR 123,150 ex-showroom, Delhi. This makes the Xpulse 200 4V, INR 5,000 more expensive than the predecessor. Hero MotoCorp will offer the bike in three new colour options – Trail Blue, Blitz Blue, and Red Raid.
Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200 4V – Features
The Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200 4V comes with features such as an aluminium skid plate that protects the engine and a toothed brake pedal. The bike also gets 190mm front and 170mm rear long suspension travel making it adventure-ready. The brand also employs an improved LED headlamp, a full digital LCD dashboard, featuring Turn-by-Turn navigation, Eco Mode, gear indicator etc. Hero also boasts that the seat comfort has been improved and the pillion grabrail now comes with a luggage plate with bungee hooks.
Hero MotoCorp XPulse 200 4V – Technical Specifications
The Hero MotoCorp XPulse 4V comes with a new 200cc single-cylinder oil-cooled four-valve SOHC engine. The new engine claims to produce 6% more power and 5% additional torque. This takes the performance figures to 19.1 PS of power and 17.35 Nm of torque from 18 PS of power and 16.45 Nm of torque. Hero also employs a newly upgraded seven fin oil cooler and refined the 5-speed transmission system. Hero MotoCorp also offers the new motorcycle with an FMSCI approved Rally Kit, further enhancing its capabilities.
