Harley Davidson has introduced the new 2022 Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) range of cruiser motorcycles in the Indian market. The CVO motorcycles offer limited production and thus exclusivity. The 2022 Harley-Davidson CVO range includes Road Glide Limited, Street Glide, Road Glide, and Tri Glide. The new super-premium motorcycles from the Harley Davidson brand has implemented new design and craftsmanship details including exclusive paint colours. All four cruiser motorcycles come with the brand’s signature Milwaukee-Eight 117 High-Performance engine and multiple modern features.
2022 Harley-Davidson CVO Cruisers – Milwaukee-Eight 117 Powertrain
Powering the 2022 Harley-Davidson CVO cruisers is the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-Twin engine. The engine features pushrod-operated overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters. Four valves per cylinder engine produce 106 PS of power and 171 Nm of torque in the CVO Road Glide and Street Glide. On the other hand, Road Glide Limited’s powertrain produces 105 PS of power and 169 Nm of torque. while the Tri Glide produces 107 PS and 170 Nm.
Harley-Davidson CVO range also comes with a high-performance intake and exhaust and is tuned to maximise engine performance while maintaining 50-state regulatory compliance. The Harley-Davidson cruisers also offer a 6-speed manual gearbox with Cruise Drive along with a 10-plate, wet Assist and Slip clutch.
2022 Harley-Davidson CVO Cruisers – Features
All four motorcycles come with rider aids such as Cornering Riding Safety Enhancements which includes chassis control, electronic brake control etc. Features also include Cornering Enhanced Electronic Linked Braking (C-ELB), Cornering Enhanced Anti-Lock Braking System (C-ABS), and Drag-Torque Slip Control System (DSCS).
In addition to this, the CVO motorcycles also come with Cornering Enhanced Traction Control System (C-TCS), Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), and Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The CVO-badged motorcycles also come as standard with features such as Rockford Fosgate audio systems and wireless headset technology. The bikes also come with a Daymaker Adaptive LED lighting system with Patented sensors and electronics integrated into the headlamp.
