Harley Davidson launched the new Sportster S for India at the 2021 India Bike Week. The brand has put on a sticker price of INR 15.51 lakh ex-showroom on the cruiser motorcycle. The Harley-Davidson Sportster S is already available in the international market and the bike is considered as one of the most advanced cruisers by the American motorcycle company.

The Sportster S was one of the key crowd-puller at the India Bike Week 2021. The motorcycle features an eccentric design, admired by motorcycle enthusiasts. The brand also offers the cruiser with three colour options to choose from that is also offered in the US market. The colourways offered on the Sportster S in Vivid Black, Midnight Crimson, and Stone Washed White Pearl. The bookings for the motorcycle are already open, and deliveries are set to begin later this month. The Harley-Davidson Sportster S comes with a distinctively designed headlamp, a short fender, high-mount exhausts and a single seat.
Harley Davidson Sportster S – Technical Specifications
Powering the Harley-Davidson Sportster S is a 1250cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine. The Revolution Max engine also does duty on the Pan America 1250 adventure-touring motorcycle. However, Harley Davidson has tweaked the engine to match the Sportster’s ‘S’ character. The engine produces 119.3 BHP of power and 127.4 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox. The brand also offers the motorcycle with four riding modes – Road, Sport, Rain and Custom. The motorcycle also comes with all-LED lighting, keyless ignition, navigation, lean-sensitive traction control, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring system and cornering ABS.
The motorcycle rides on a fully adjustable USD fork at the front and a mono-shock suspension on the rear. The motorcycle comes with a 320mm disc with a four-piston radial monoblock Brembo calliper. While the rear features a two-piston Brembo calliper and a 260mm disc.
