Indian electric mobility company Raj Electromotives Pvt. Ltd. has announced that its subsidiary Greta Electric plans to expand to 50+ touchpoints by the next year. This will include dealerships, experience centers, and studios for its customers who wish to purchase Greta Electric scooters. The expansion programme aims to extend Greta’s reach in every part of the country. The brand also revealed that this even includes the most remote regions, to strengthen its network.
In the first stage of its plans, the EV manufacturer intends to reach cities where individuals use self-owned two-wheelers for daily commutes. The plan is to target cities where public transportation is scarce. Greta has also opened a new showroom in Leh, Ladakh. The brand is also planning to expand its footprint across key tier-II cities with 50+ touchpoints in FY22.
Future Dealership Plans
Greta Electric recently conducted an awareness programme to spread information about EVs and how they are more advantageous when compared to ICE vehicles. The brand also plans to expand its experience centres in Ahmedabad in order to increase awareness with regard to EVs.
According to the brand, the dealerships/experience centres will feature a trained staff to provide first-hand experience of its products. Greta will also aid in educating potential customers about the benefits of EVs and address any doubts or concerns. Prospective customers will be able to better understand the product and trained staff will be able to address their queries.
