MV Agusta has revealed the new 550cc adventure-touring motorcycle “Lucky Explorer 5.5” at the EICMA 2021 in Milan. The Lucky Explorer 5.5 is the smallest MV Agusta in the brand’s portfolio. The motorcycle takes inspiration from the MV Agusta Elefant, Lucky Explorer has all the kit and mechanicals to make it a proper adventure tourer.
Lucky Explorer 5.5 – Design Highlights
The MV Agusta Lucky Explorer 5.5 features enduro off-road looks. The motorcycle comes with an upright fairing and muscular looks. The bike comes with twin LED DRL rings on the split headlamps adding to the aggressive character. The large fairing also helps the bike cut through the air. Features include a robust sump guard, a high-mount mudguard, knuckle guards etc. The brand also offers striking graphics on the motorcycle helping with the bike’s overall design. In addition to this, the wire-spoke wheels perfectly complement the adventure-tourer motorcycle. The Italian brand is using a new parallel-twin 550cc engine with a bore of 70.5mm and 71mm stroke. The engine is likely to generate oodles of torque which will be available across the entire rev range of the motorcycle.

The brand has not yet officially announced the performance figures of the motorcycle. But expect the new Lucky Explorer to make its debut sometime next year. MV Agusta is likely to offer the Lucky Explorer to various developing markets including India. Reports suggest that the Lucky Explorer is likely to be positioned as the most affordable offering of MV Agusta.
