Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Aprilia has unveiled the new Tuono 660 Factory sportbike in the international market. The announcement of the higher-spec Tuono 660 Factory came at the EICMA 2021 in Milan. The Tuono Factory comes with a host of changes compared to the standard Touno 660. These changes include advanced hardware along with reduced weight at the kerb.
Aprilia has made changes to the suspension setup of the new Tuono 660 Factory. This includes 41mm Kayaba front forks and a Sachs rear mono-shock. Both suspensions are adjustable for compression, spring preload and rebound damping. In addition to this, the Factory variant also makes use of a lightweight lithium battery. Thanks to the battery the bike is now almost 2 kg lighter. This enhances the power-to-weight ratio of the motorcycle. The Tuono 660 Factory also comes with Dark graphics further adding to the sporty appeal. Also, the motorcycle gets a single-seat tail fairing in black and red colour tone. Aprilia also offers the pillion seat with a footpeg as a standard fitment offered with the motorcycle.
Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory – Technical Specifications
Powering the Aprilia Tuono 660 Factory is a 660cc, twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 98.6 Bhp of power which is up from the standard 93.7 Bhp. The motorcycle also comes with a peak torque of 67 Nm which is the same as the standard motorcycle. Aprilia offers the Tuono 660 with a full suite of APRC electronics. The electronic suite works on a six-axis inertial platform and features cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, cruise control, a bidirectional quick shifter, engine brake control, and selectable engine maps. The brand also offers a total of 5 different riding modes, the same as the standard trim.
India Launch?
Aprilia has not revealed if the brand will bring the Factory trim to the Indian market anytime soon. But chances are high chances that the high-performance model will make it to Indian streets. The Tuono 660 is currently on sale in India in its standard form with a sticker price of INR 13,09,000 ex-showroom.
