Premium motorcycle manufacturer Aprilia has revealed a new Limited Edition RS 660 sports bike at the EICMA 2021 in Milan. The Italian bike maker launched the RS 660 middle-weight sports bike back in 2020 and is now celebrating its first milestone in the United States of America. Now Aprilia has revealed that the motorcycle has dominated the 2021 Twins Cup at the coveted American championship. The championship is dedicated to medium-sized engined bikes and the Twins Cup comes under the premium American motorcycle racing series known as MotoAmerica.
Aprilia RS 660 Limited Edition – Design Highlights
Aprilia has implemented a unique stars and stripes livery on the Limited Edition to commemorate its victory at the coveted American race. The brand has announced that it will have a limited production run of 1500 units. All the Aprilia RS 660s will come with a unique serial number. The motorcycle will also feature graphics inspired by the American flag and resemble the special graphics seen on the Twin Cup Champion’s bike, Kaleb De Keyrel. Kaleb won the Vallelunga race featuring the American colours on the motorcycle. The Aprilia Limited Edition RS 660 also features a single-seat, tail cowling and a special badge on the fuel tank. The Aprilia RS 660 also features a full-LED headlight with a cornering function, integrated LED DRLs, and turn indicators.
Aprilia RS 660 Limited Edition: Technical Specs
Powering the Aprilia RS 660 is a 660cc twin-cylinder engine. The motor produces 100 PS of power and 67 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quick-shifter. The engine also features electronic fuel injection and an advanced thermodynamic system with a separate liquid and oil cooler.
The bike rides on a 41mm, upside-down, front fork suspension with a monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle comes with 17-inch front and rear alloy wheels. The RS660 comes with a dual 320mm front brake disc and a single 220mm rear brake disc with Brembo callipers and a dual-channel ABS with cornering function.

Aprilia offers the Limited Edition RS 660 with the latest-gen APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) unit consisting of an advanced 6-axis inertial measuring unit. The APRC package includes Aprilia Traction Control, Aprilia Wheelie Control, Aprilia Cruise Control, and Aprilia Quick Shift. The bike also gets Aprilia Engine Brake, Aprilia Engine Map, and MultiMap Cornering ABS Function.
