Smart mobility solutions company Bounce has revealed the brand’s first consumer electric scooter for the Indian market. The electric scooter is dubbed, Infinity E1 and Bounce has priced the e-scooter inclusive of the battery and charger at just INR 68,999 ex-showroom. The Bounce Infinity E1 is also available with a Battery-as-a-Service subscription at the price of INR 45,099 ex-showroom, Delhi.
The brand has commenced accepting bookings for the Infinity E1 with a refundable booking amount of INR 499. The brand offers customers a choice to purchase the Bounce Infinity E1 with or without the battery pack. Bounce will leverage its battery-swapping network, where customers can instead swap their empty battery packs for fully-charged ones.
Bounce Infinity E1 – Powertrain and Battery
Powering the Infinity E1 is a 48V, 39A portable battery pack with IP67 waterproof certification. The electric motors produce 83 Nm of torque, allowing the e-scooter to achieve a top speed of 65 kmph. The Bounce Infinity E1 can sprint from 0-40 kmph time of 8 seconds. The bike comes with 2 driving modes – Eco and Power. Customers will be able to charge the battery via any regular electric socket. The battery pack requires 4-5 hours to charge completely. According to Bounce, the e-scooter returns a driving range of 85 Km per charge.
Bounce Infinity E1 – Colours and Running Gear
The Bounce Infinity E1 electric scooter features a tubular frame chassis that rides on a hydraulic telescopic front suspension. The electric scooter also comes with twin shock absorbers at the rear for optimized ride comfort and stylish alloy wheels. For braking power, Bounce has equipped the e-scooter with front and rear disc brakes with EBS. Electronic Braking System improves the braking capability and regenerates power improving the range. Bounce offers the Infinity E1 electric scooter in 5 colours- Sporty Red, Sparkle Black, Pearl White, Desat Silver, and Comet Grey.
Bounce Infinity E1 – Features
The Bounce Infinity E1 features electronic features consisting of numerous state-of-the-art sensors. The features include CANBUS, a Smart App, Remote Applications, Geofencing, Drag Mode, Reverse Mode, Cruise Control, Anti Theft, and Tow Alert. In addition to this, the e-scooter also comes with projector headlights with integrated LEDs, a 12-litre storage space, and a digital instruments cluster.
