BMW Motorrad India has announced that the brand has started accepting pre-bookings for the much-awaited BMW R 1250 RT. The company has announced that the motorcycle will hit the Indian roads by May 2022. Customers who widh to booke the R 1250 RT can visit any BMW Motorrad dealership and pre-book their motorcycle. For the convenience of customers, BMW Motorrad is also offering customized financial solutions through BMW Financial Services India. Thanks to the rising demand in the touring segment, the R 1250 RT will cater to the demands in the segment. BMW also ensures that this motorcycle will provide both the best comfort and experience, especially on long riding trips. The brand will offer four colour shades – Black Storm Metallic 2, Racing Blue Metallic, Alpine White and Mineral White Metallic.

BMW R 1250 RT – Highlights

The BMW R 1250 RT comes with a Euro 5 compliant engine. Powering the motorcycle is a 1,254cc Boxer twin motor. The engine produces 136 PS of power and 143 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is the first in the world to come with a radar-guided Active Cruise Control system. Thanks to the feature riders can easily do long touring rides. The bike also comes with a new headlight and a 10.25-inch TFT dashboard.
