Benelli India has announced that the brand has opened the order books for the Benelli TRK 251 adventure tourer in India. The Benelli TRK 251 will become the smallest adventure touring motorcycle in the Italian marquee’s India portfolio. But the bike follows the same design language as the larger TRK 502 and TRK 502x sold in the Indian and international markets. The Benelli TRK 251 will directly rival the KTM 250 Adventure and also the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the BMW Motorrad G 310 GS.
Benelli has announced that customers can now pre-book the TRK 251 for INR 6,000 at the nearest Benelli dealership or the official online website. The company also revealed that it has scheduled deliveries of the TRK 251 from January 2022 across all dealerships. In addition to this, the Benelli TRK 251 will come in 3 distinct colours, announced the brand. These are – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Grey.

The Benelli TRK 251 comes with a design language inspired by the larger sibling the TRK 502. The adventure touring motorcycle comes with a sharp beak along with twin headlamps and a unique LED DRL. The brand also offers a tall windshield the protects the rider from wind and weather. In addition to this, the motorcycle also comes with chiselled side panels, integrated turn signals and ergonomically designed seats. The TRK 251 also features a sleek tail with luggage mounts and an integrated pillion grab rail on the rear. The bike also comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and an upswept exhaust.

Powering the Benelli TRK 251 is a 249cc single-cylinder four-stroke four-valve DOHC motor with pressure splash lubrication. The engine produces 25.5 PS of power and 21.1 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox, the TRK 251 also features a wet multi-plate clutch for smoother yet aggressive shifts.
The motorcycle rides on an Arch Bar Truck frame with an upside-down telescopic front suspension. The bike also comes with an oil-damped, coil spring rear suspension. The bike offers 170mm of ground clearance and an 800mm seat height. Overall, the Benelli TRK 251 features an 18-litre fuel tank along with a dry weight of 164 Kg.
