Benelli India has officially released the teaser for the refreshed TRK 502X adventure motorcycle. However, the brand has not yet revealed the changes that the company will be making on the new Benelli model. But from the images, we believe that the motorcycle is likely to get a new colour option. The currently Benelli TRK 502X sold in the Indian market comes with three shades – white, red and grey. Benelli is likely to make a few other cosmetic changes on the motorcycle but the bike is likely to remain mechanically unchanged.
Benelli TRK 502X – Highlights
Powering the adventure motorcycle is a 500cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder in-line engine. The engine produces 47.5 PS of power and 46 Nm of torque. The motor comes with a 6-speed gearbox with a gear position indicator. The gear position indicator allows the rider to select the optimum gear improving the efficiency of the engine. The Benelli 502X also comes with steel trellis frame that rides on a long-travel upside-down front fork suspension and an adjustable mono-shock on the rear. The suspension on the adventure-based motorcycle is optimised for both road and rough and rocky terrain.
Braking power comes from 320mm floating discs on the front featuring a 2-piston calliper. The rear of the motorcycle comes with a single 260mm disc with one piston calliper. The bike also gets a dual-channel ABS as a standard offering for the motorcycle. In addition to this, the TRK 502X comes with enhanced off-road capability. Benelli is also using a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked rim setup on the TRK 502X. The Benelli TRK 502X comes with features such as knuckle guards with aluminium brackets, and a white and amber lit digital dashboard. The rider controls also feature a backlit function and the bike comes with redesigned mirrors that are longer and broader than before. Benelli also offers the motorcycle with double-threaded seats and a black-finish handlebar with a Benelli logo. The handlebar also gets a pitch level indicator.
