Bajaj Auto has announced that the brand will be doubling its Chetak network in the first 6 weeks of 2022. The brand has added New Delhi, Mumbai, and Goa. This adds to the list of locations where Bajaj will be selling the Chetak in the Indian market. The brand also announced that customers can now book the all-metal body electric scooter across 20 Indian cities along with a waiting period of 4-8 weeks. Bajaj Expansion Plans
In 2021, Bajaj Auto also revealed that the brand will open the bookings for its Chetak e-scooter across 8 cities re-opening them for 2022. In the first 6 weeks, the company also opened bookings across an additional 12 Indian cities, bringing the total to 20. These new cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Vasai, Mapusa, Coimbatore, Madurai, Kochi, Kozhikode, Hubli, Visakhapatnam, Nashik, and Surat.

Bajaj Auto offers the Chetak e-scooter with a 12,000 Km/1-year service interval and a battery warranty of 3 years or 50,000 Km. The brand also offers the electric scooter in 4 colours – Indigo Metallic, Velutto Rosso, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut. The Bajaj Chetak comes with a fully-rechargeable battery pack offering a 25% quick charge capability in 60 minutes.
Customers can achieve a full charge in 5 hours which provides a claimed range of 90 km in Eco Mode. The scooter also comes with an elegant, streamlined design and boasts Bajaj Auto’s precision engineering via a global standard-based manufacturing process. The motor comes with an IP67 water resistance rating and beltless solid gear drive. In addition to this, the Chetak also gets three riding modes, headlamps with signature ‘horseshoe’ DRLs and sequential LED turn indicators.
