Bajaj Auto has announced that the brand has commenced deliveries of the recently launched Pulsar 250 series from Pune. The company revealed that the first delivery took place from the Shourya Bajaj showroom at Chinchwad, Pune. The brand also announced that the first-ever owner of the Pulsar 250 is also a loyal Pulsar aficionado. The owner also owned the Pulsar 220 which is the predecessor to the Pulsar 250. CredR also offers its customers the option to sell their old Pulsar bikes through CredR stores.
The Pulsar brand reminds us of the iconic TV commercials showcasing the macho personality of the motorcycle which has been carried forward through the generations. Bajaj retails the new Pulsar 250 with starting price tag of INR 1.38 lakh ex-showroom for the Bajaj Pulsar N250. On the other hand, the Pulsar F250 costs INR 2,000 more than the ex-showroom price.
Bajaj Pulsar 250 – Features
Bajaj offers an evolutionary design on the new Pulsar 250 series. The bike under the 250 series, i.e. N250 and F250 cater to both sport touring and naked sports enthusiasts. The bikes share the same platform and running gear and the only difference is F250’s semi-fairing with sharper-looking LED lights. The new Pulsar 250 also comes with a new semi-digital instrument cluster which is an evolution of the old model. Bajaj has also retained the analogue tachometer on the Pulsar 250 series. However, the brand Bajaj is not offering Bluetooth connectivity with the Pulsar 250.
Powering the Pulsar 250 series is the new 249.07cc SOHC air and oil-cooled engine. The motor produces 24.5 Bhp of power and 21.5 Nm of torque. Bajaj offers a 5-speed gearbox with the Pulsar 250 with an assist and slipper clutch. The brand is also offering telescopic front suspension on the front and a monoshock on the rear. The bike also rides on a new chassis.
