Renowned electric scooter manufacturing company Ather is expanding its sales and service footprint in the Indian market. The brand has now announced the inauguration of a new Ather showroom in West Bengal. Ather integrated the new Ather Space on 9th October 2021. According to the brand, the new Ather Space is the first Experience Center in West Bengal. The location for the new Ather Space is Sevoke Road, Siliguri. The brand also announced that the new Ather Space is in association with SRIRS E-Ventures Pvt Ltd. The new Ather Space which is also the brand’s 18th experience centre will feature the 450 X and 450 plus for consumers.

The State plans to achieve this by not applying road tax and registration fees on the purchase of EV two-wheelers. Ather 450 X – Details
The Ather 450 X which is the flagship electric scooter comes with a price tag of INR 1,45,129 ex-showroom, Kolkata. The Ather 450 X comes with a 6kW PMSM motor paired to a 2.9 kWh lithium-ion battery. This helps the scooter achieve 0-40 kmph in just 3.3 seconds. Ather offers the scooter with three riding modes – Eco, Ride, Sport, and Warp. The Ather 450X electric scooter is also capable of charging at the rate of 1.5 km per minute.
The Scooter comes with a 7-inch touchscreen dashboard powered by a Snapdragon Quad-Core processor. The touchscreen display features a 4G SIM card and Bluetooth Connectivity and a colour depth of 16M. The dashboard comes with an Android Open Source operating system with OTA updates along with Google Maps navigation and onboard diagnostics. Ather also offers features such as Auto Indicator off and Guide-me-home lights.
