The Ather Grid 2.0 is a next-generation public fast-charging station developed over the current Ather Grid. Ather reveals that the new Ather Grid 2.0 comes with enhanced features that will help the brand with future faster-charging capability. But one need not wait for the future to arrive, Ather Energy has already commenced installing the new public fast-charging network in Bangalore and Chennai. In addition to this, Ather also revealed that the brand will be expanding its new charging infrastructure across several cities in India.
Ather Grid 2.0 Will Get Over-The-Air Updates
The new Ather Grid 2.0 is designed to set new benchmarks for the future of public charging utilities. Ather reveals that the brand will be offering a different, approachable, and scalable charging experience with the new Ather Grid 2.0. Furthermore, the new Ather Grid 2.0 will have the ability to support future fast charging as well. The Ather Grid 2.0 will also ensure more safety and faster bug resolution reducing downtime.
Enhanced Durability
The new Ather Grid 2.0 will support Over-the-Air updates enabling the brand to fix bugs and add new features to all systems in real-time. Ather also reveals that the new Ather Grid 2.0 comes with durability updates. The design of the new interface can also handle degradation. This allows the brand to install the Grid in exposed environmental conditions as well. The new Ather Grid 2.0 also features a unique modular design. This new design helps in-field serviceability and remote diagnostics.
Ather Grid Network
Ather Energy has its Ather Grid network is spread across more than 21 cities and 215 plus locations. In addition to this, the electromobility brand also plans to add 500 Ather Grid locations by the end of FY22. The brand has also announced that all the new installations will be Ather Grid 2.0’s. This will make Ather Grid one of India’s largest fast-charging ecosystems for electric two-wheelers. Also, the Ather Grid fast-charging network will be available to all electric two-wheelers as well as electric four-wheelers. The network is also free of charge until the end of December 2021.
