Aprilia Tuareg 660 Teaser Revealed

Aprilia, in July 2021, digitally revealed the all-new Tuareg adventure motorcycle. Now, the Italian motorcycle is likely to make its physical debut at the EICMA 2021. However, the brand recently revealed a teaser of the motorcycle that unveils its details ahead of the launch. The brand also updated its official website with details such as the technical specifications and the electronics package.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Design & Styling

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 comes with a Paris-Dakar inspired enduro racing motorcycle. The Tuareg 660 features an athletic body that comes with an upright front fairing and a futuristic headlamp. The headlamp comes with a double tick-mark LED DRL and Aprilia’s hallmark triple light beams. The bike also comes with a clear windshield, tall enough to protect the rider from wind and weather. The Tuareg 660 gets a muscular fuel tank with large shrouds, a sleek tail section, and a flat bench seat.

The Aprilia Tuareg 660 comes with features such as knuckle guards as well as a large front fender for protection from stone chips and tree branches. The adventure motorcycle comes with a metal engine sump guard and spoke wire rims shod in knobby tyres. The bike also gets a 5-inch high-visibility TFT screen and Four Riding Modes. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 also comes with APRC – Aprilia Performance Ride Control suite, including Traction Control, Cruise Control, Engine Map, and Engine Brake.

Aprilia Tuareg 660 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Aprilia Tuareg 660 is the brand’s 659cc forward-facing liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. The revised motor produces 80 Hp of power and 70 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a significantly boosted low/mid-range curve paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The Aprilia Tuareg 660 rides on a new tubular steel frame that rides on a 43mm upside-down front fork. The bike also comes with a progressive linkage monoshock and offers 240mm of ground clearance. The bike comes with a wheelbase of 1,500mm a seat height of 860mm, an 18-litre fuel tank and 187 kg of dry weight.
