Aprilia has revealed the 2022 Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 Ultra Dark for the international market. The 2022 update comes with a new colour scheme however, the brand has not made any mechanical or design changes to the motorcycle. Both the RSV4 and Tuono V4 are now available with a new livery called Ultra Dark. The new livery draws inspiration from the 2006 Aprilia RSV4 1000R. The motorcycle features a matte black shade with subtle golden inserts which look flamboyant. The motorcycle also features special badges, logos and tail units with a golden treatment. However, the Tuono V4 Ultra Dark does not get golden wheels.
Technical Specifications
Powering the Aprilia RSV4 is the same 1099cc unit. The V4 engine makes 217 Bhp of power. On the other hand, the Tuono V4, comes with a 1077cc V4 motor that produces 172 Bhp of power and 122 Nm of torque. The running gear on the Aprilia RSV4 and the Tuono V4 is also carried over from the standard model. The motorcycles come with a high-specification suspension and brake setup. The bike features Ohlins suspension and a Brembo brake colour.
Ultra Dark Models
The current generation of the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 is on sale in India in their standard forms. Aprilia is likely to include the 2022 update for the Indian market as well. However, we cannot confirm if the brand will be bringing the Ultra Dark models to the Indian market. If launched the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 Ultra Dark will command a premium price over the standard models. Aprilia has not announced the pricing as of yet.
