However, reports suggest that the brand could be planning to make a comeback in the 150cc entry-level segment.
Honda CBR150R – Design Patents
According to the design patents filed at the Indian intellectual property office, Honda could be planning to introduce the latest model of the CBR150R. The company already retails the motorcycle in the international market. The CBR150R is also quite popular in the Southeast Asian market and comes in various colours and accessories. The bike comes with a sharper, sportier design language as well as an efficient yet powerful engine.

In the international market, the bike comes with an angular nose and split headlamps with eyebrow-like LED DRLs. The CBR150R also comes with a bubble style windscreen and an angular design on the cowling. The CBR150R also features a chiselled fuel tank along with a sleek tail. However, the launch timeline is currently unconfirmed.
Honda CBR150R – Technical Specifications
Powering the CBR150R is a 149.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. The DOHC engine produces 16.3 PS of power and 13.7 Nm of torque. The engine also features PGM-FI (Programmed Fuel Injection) system and a 6-speed transmission with wet multiple Assist and Slipper clutch. The Honda CBR150R also gets Upside Down Front Suspension and a Pro-Link System Monoshock on the rear. The brand is likely to offer the CBR150R in competition with the Yamaha YZF-R15.
