TVS Motor Company has announced that the two-wheeler manufacturer recorded a total sales of 2,66,788 units for January 2022. In the same period last year, the sales stood at 3,07,149 units. The rising Covid cases and the irregular supply of semiconductor chips have worked against the sales in January this year. The brand also partnered with Swiggy to deploy its electric scooter in the delivery fleet. This will help both the companies to achieve their sustainable solutions. The rising demand for electric vehicles in the country also leads us to believe that TVS will soon add more electric vehicles to the brand’s portfolio. As of now TVS only offers the iQube in the electric two-wheeler segment. The premium electric scooter comes with an ex-showroom price of INR 1,00,777, including all subsidies.
