Honda 2Wheelers India has recorded its sales report for December 2021. The brand announced that it sold a total of 223,621 units of sales in December 2021. The brand revealed that 210,612 units were sold in the domestic market and 13,009 units in export.
CY 2021 Sales Analysis
Recently, Honda introduced a new adventure model in the 180 to 200cc segment in the form of the CB200X. The new adventure touring model shows a significant demand in this segment to attract more customers. Furthermore, Honda 2Wheelers India also launched a host of special edition models. The brand reveals that the Honda Grazia 125 recently received a new Repsol Honda Team edition. In the premium segment i.e. from 300cc to up to 1800cc, Honda introduced a total of 4 brand new models and two new editions. The new premium products in the brand are CBR650R, CB650R, CB500X and CB350RS.
In addition to this, Honda also upgraded the adventure motorcycle Africa Twin and Goldwing models. The Honda Africa Twin has been particularly famous in Karnataka. Honda recently delivered the 100th Africa Twin for the state of Karnataka. In India, the count of Africa Twin has crossed 300 units. Honda 2Wheelers also announced the launch of its BigWing Virtual Showroom. This is the first time that Honda has launched a virtual showroom for its premium category motorcycles. The brand also announced the new neo-sports cafe CB300R, as well as the Honda 2Wheelers, announced the launch of H’ness CB350 Anniversary Edition.
The Honda H’ness CB350 anniversary edition model is available in two colours – Pearl Igneous Black and Matt Marshall-Green. Honda crossed the 1.5 crore customers in North India while Honda added 70 lakh customers in south India. In Gujarat, Honda crossed the 50 lakh sales milestone while in Karnataka and Rajasthan, Honda 2Wheelers crossed the 40 lakhs and 20 lakhs, respectively.
