Revolt Motors has announced that the brand started the year 2022 by inaugurating its first retail store in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh. The Revolt store is the first in the region of Uttar Pradesh. With this, the brand also reveals that this is the company’s 20th dealership in India. The state of Uttar Pradesh has emerged to become a high-demand market for electric two-wheelers. The brand revealed that the new state-of-the-art facility is located in Hall 1, Upper Ground Floor, MK silver heights, Ring Road, Khurram Nagar, Lucknow- 226022.
Through the new dealership, customers can explore and witness the brand’s flagship electric motorcycle, the RV400. In addition to this, the Government of Uttar Pradesh also offers a 100% tax exemption for electric two-wheelers with around 75% tax exemption for other EVs. The Government also has plans to provide exemptions and incentives for the first 1,000 EV charging stations. The policies will enhance the electric mobility sector in the state and also accelerate the adoption of EVs.
Revolt Plans for 2022
In December 2021, the company inaugurated new dealerships in the West and South Indian regions of Kolkata, Madurai & Coimbatore. The RattanIndia-backed company also expanded its footprint towards Vijayawada. The brand also aims to enter 50+ new Indian cities so as to fulfil the increased customer demand. It will also follow the plan of opening dealerships in the Chandigarh and NCR regions.
