Bajaj Auto has announced the brand’s sales report for the calendar year 2021. Bajaj reported that it has exported more than 2.2 million two-wheelers and 0.3 million three-wheelers to the international market. This is the brand’s highest ever export figure for a calendar year. The brand also revealed that the demand in the international market is also on the rise and is in line with the opening of businesses.
According to the company, the export figure is seeing a 30 per cent rise over the previous year. Bajaj Auto also mentions that the 125cc plus segment accounted for nearly 41 per cent of the two-wheeler volumes in CY 2021. Bajaj’s popular products such as the Pulsar, Dominar and Boxer are quite popular in the international market. Bajaj reveals that the export network includes a host of developing countries. This list includes countries such as Argentina, Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt, Guatemala, Mexico, Nepal, Peru and Turkey.
Bajaj Dominar and Boxer Demand Rises
Bajaj introduced the Dominar 250, becoming more popular in the quarter-litre segment. In the international markets, the Dominar is the segment leader in the 250-400cc motorcycle category. Countries, where the Dominar is quite popular, are Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, Mexico, and Turkey. The Bajaj Boxer is also growing increasingly popular in key markets of the African continent with countries including Nigeria, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In addition to this, Bajaj Auto also confirmed that they are fully prepared to enter other key markets like Brazil and western Europe.
