Triumph Motorcycles has launched the new special edition Rocket 3R 221 in the Indian market. The new motorcycle has been launched alongside 6 Gold Edition models. The Triumph Rocket 3R 221 also comes with the brand’s unique paint scheme and will be put on sale only for a year, maintaining exclusivity.

The 221 in the suffix is the amount of peak torque the motorcycle delivers. Also, Triumph offers the new motorcycle a new paint scheme. Under the theme, Triumph offers a tank and front mudguard with a Red Hopper finish. Whereas, the mudguard bracket, headlight bowl, flyscreens rear bodywork, radiator cowl and side panels are finished in Sapphire Black colour. The motorcycle also features 221 knee pad graphics in the tank recesses. Also, tank-top graphics showcase all of the Rocket’s 221 incredible performance numbers. The Rocket 3R also comes with a unique hidden folding pillion footrest. When folded, it seamlessly blends into the clean lines of the Rocket’s design.

Powering the Rocket 3R 221 is a 2,458cc triple engine. The liquid-cooled engine delivers the world highest peak torque of 221 Nm and a power output of 167 PS. The brand also offers a torque-assist hydraulic clutch, along with a six-speed helical-cut gearbox. The motorcycle rides on a 47mm upside-down Showa cartridge suspension setup on the front and consists of a fully adjustable Showa mono-shock at the rear. Braking power comes from Brembo Stylema four-piston radial monobloc on the front with twin 320mm floating discs. Triumph offers the Rocket 3R 221 with Avon Cobra Chrome tyres, along with the 20-spoke design.
