Revolt Motors has inaugurated the brand’s latest dealership in the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This becomes the electric motorcycle manufacturer’s 17th dealership in India. Revolt Motors has plans to expand its presence even further in Southern India. The Government of Tamil Nadu is also offering incentives for EV OEMs which include complete reimbursement of state-paid GST on vehicle sales, exemptions from manufacturing electricity tax, and 15-20% subsidy on land cost. Tamil Nadu is also the only state where there is a complete exemption on motor vehicle taxes for BEVs until 2022.
Retail Presence and Expansion
Revolt recently opened stores in Vizag and Kolkata. The company has also expanded its footprint in Coimbatore and Vijayawada. Also, the increased customer demand has caused Revolt to expand and strengthen its retail presence by entering 50+ new cities. The company will also open up its retail dealerships in Chandigarh, Lucknow, and NCR by early 2022.

Revolt’s flagship RV400 e-bike
Powering the RV400 is a 3kW Mid Drive electric motor with a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery. The motor produces 6.8 PS of power and 54 Nm of torque. The bike features a top speed of 85 kmph and comes with Eco, Normal, and Sport riding modes.
