Triumph Motorcycle has launched the new Street Twin EC1 Special Edition in the Indian market. The brand has announced that the new Triumph Street Twin will come with a sticker price of INR 8,85,000 ex-showroom. The new Triumph Street Twin EC1 will retail from all Triumph physical and digital stores.

The Triumph Street Twin EC1 Special Edition motorcycle draws its inspiration from the iconic EC1 postcode in England. The brand offers a vibrant, custom-classic motorcycle, that reverberates with the motorcycling culture of London’s East End. East London is known for its love of motorcycles and this region also has a thriving design community. The passion for the ‘art of customization’ is completely visible in this region. Triumph is paying tribute the East London through the Street Twin EC1.
With a number of customisations from the factory, the Street Twin EC1 Special Edition does add to the exclusiveness to the motorcycle. According to Triumph, the Street Twin EC1 Special Edition is available with a unique custom-inspired theme. The motorcycle will go on sale only for a limited period of one year.
The brand offers a new Matt Aluminum Silver and Matt Silver Ice paint shade on the fuel tank. In addition to this, the tank also comes with subtle design inserts along with a distinctive Triumph badge. The customised offering continues on the side panel as well. Both the front and rear mudguards also feature a matt aluminium silver finish. Furthermore, minimal turn indicators on the front and rear and an elegant looking rear light are a special touch on the EC1.
Technical Features
Powering the Triumph Street Twin EC1 is a Euro5/BS6 compliant 900cc Bonneville twin engine. The engine produces 65 PS of power and 80 Nm of torque. The motorcycle rides on 41mm cartridge forks at the front and adjustable preload twin rear shocks. Braking power comes from a Brembo brake setup. The motorcycle also comes with ABS and switchable traction control as standard. the brand offers two riding modes – Rain and Road.
The motorcycle also comes with an analogue speedometer, digital tachometer, handlebar mounted scroll button, under-seat USB charger etc. Triumph also offers the motorcycle with 120 genuine Triumph accessories which come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
